Moth Bound Set

Date

November 2025

The Mouth Bound Set is a monochrome study of silence, devotion, and metamorphosis. Figures appear half-sacred, half-synthetic nuns, martyrs, and biomechanical bodies threaded with cables like exposed nerves while moths and butterflies settle on skin and circuitry as if they’re choosing new hosts. The mouth becomes a sealed threshold: bound by strands, leaking light, unable to confess, unable to lie—only to transform. Across portraits and environments (a spiraling library void, cavernous chambers, mirrored opposites), the series leans into duality black/white, faith/body, purity/corruption using high-contrast, ink-like textures to make beauty feel unnerving and fragile at once.
